🔹 Role Responsibilities:

🔹 Monitor security alerts, systems, networks, and suspicious activities.

🔹 Investigate potential security incidents and escalate threats appropriately.

🔹 Analyse logs, alerts, and security events to identify unusual activity.

🔹 Assist with vulnerability assessments and security monitoring.

🔹 Support incident response, investigation, and remediation activities.

🔹 Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations.

🔹 Assist with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.

🔹 Help maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.

🔹 Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to resolve security issues.

🔹 Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and security best practices.

🔹 Qualifications:

✅ Degree or relevant qualification in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

✅ Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, networks, operating systems, and common threats.

✅ Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, or security monitoring tools is an advantage.

✅ Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, authentication, and access controls.

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

✅ Excellent attention to detail and investigative mindset.

✅ Ability to communicate technical information clearly.

✅ Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or Essential Eight is an advantage.

✅ Relevant cybersecurity certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
