Cyber Security Analyst

We are working with a large IT consultancy on behalf of their end customer, a US-based healthcare organisation, who's looking to bring on a Cybersecurity Analyst. It's a great opportunity to build hands-on experience across threat monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management within a well-established security team, currently going through an EDR platform migration.

Logistics:

Rate: €350-380 per day

Contract: B2B, 6 months initially

Location: Remote (Poland)

What you'll be doing:

• Monitoring networks and systems for security breaches, analysing logs for signs of threat activity
• Supporting incident response, from initial analysis through to containment and resolution
• Reviewing vulnerability scans and assessments, and helping implement mitigation measures
• Collaborating with threat intelligence and IT teams to prioritise and remediate exposure
• Preparing regular reports on security status and incidents

What you'll bring:

Required:

• Basic understanding of network protocols, cloud platforms and operating systems
• Familiarity with core security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS and SIEMs
• Associate's degree in a relevant field, or two years' equivalent experience

Preferred:

• Certifications such as Security+, CySA+ or CISSP
• Experience with a SIEM platform such as Splunk, Sentinel or Elastic
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash or PowerShell
