Cyber Security Engineer, Junior Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a VAPT Analyst with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, API, and Network Security Testing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of OWASP methodologies, vulnerability research, reporting, remediation, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), API, Network, and Thick Client security testing.
• Conduct manual and automated vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Identify, validate, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in Bug Bounty programs, vulnerability research, and responsible disclosure activities.
• Prepare VAPT reports with risk ratings, PoCs, and remediation recommendations.
• Perform vulnerability verification and re-testing after remediation.
• Communicate findings and remediation guidance to clients and technical teams.
• Stay updated on emerging vulnerabilities, exploits, attack techniques, and security trends.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application security.
• Knowledge of XSS, SQLi, CSRF, IDOR, Broken Access Control, Authentication/Session Management, SSRF, RCE, Security Misconfigurations, and Business Logic vulnerabilities.
• Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, Linux, and Windows.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as:
• Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Postman, MobSF, Wireshark, Nikto, Dirsearch/Gobuster, and SQLMap.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.Experience & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in VAPT / Cybersecurity / Information Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience in client interaction, technical discussions, and security reporting.
• Bug bounty experience or publicly disclosed security research is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications

eWPTX, eJPT, CEH, CRTP, CRTO, or equivalent certifications.
