Cyber Security Engineer / Security Engineer

Responsible for implementation, configuration, operation, troubleshooting and technical support of enterprise cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
• Perform deployment, testing, troubleshooting and system health checks.
• Monitor and investigate security alerts, events and technical issues.
• Perform security configuration, hardening and remediation activities.
• Support incident investigation and technical resolution.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support when required.
• Prepare configuration, testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, principals and technology partners.
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in cybersecurity, network security or enterprise security solutions.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: NGFW, Managed Web Security / Web Security, NDR, SOC, SIEM / Security Monitoring, Network & Endpoint Security.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Principal/vendor technical certifications in firewall, network security, NDR, SOC or related security technologies are an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and networking fundamentals.
• Willing to provide onsite support in Putrajaya when required

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
