Cyber Security Engineering Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Cyber Security Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead a team of cyber security engineers responsible for strengthening technical defenses and driving a security-focused engineering culture. The manager will balance people leadership with planning, execution, and performance management to ensure the team is aligned to business and program needs. This position also plays an important role in resourcing and assignment planning within a highly regulated, mission-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $122,741 – $199,454 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Cyber Security Engineers
• Set team goals and performance expectations
• Conduct one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations
• Promote a high-performing and security-focused team culture
• Oversee resource planning and project assignments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• JD/PhD with 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
