Cyber Security Expert

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Expert with a strong background in IT system security audits, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing (VAPT), risk mitigation, and cybersecurity policy implementation. The ideal candidate should have experience managing cloud deployments or implementing cybersecurity requirements across a minimum of two projects. Experience in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) integration will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security audits and risk assessments of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to identify security gaps and recommend corrective measures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and data.
• Identify potential cyber threats, assess security risks, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• Manage cybersecurity requirements and security controls for cloud deployments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with IT, OT, and project teams to implement security measures and resolve identified vulnerabilities.
• Prepare security audit reports, risk assessment documentation, and mitigation plans.
• Support the integration of cybersecurity measures with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, wherever applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• BE/B. Tech in IT, Computer Applications, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT system security, audits, and risk mitigation.
• Hands-on experience in VAPT, vulnerability management, and security risk assessment.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity policies and solutions.
• Experience managing cloud deployments or cybersecurity requirements in at least 2 projects.
• Strong understanding of network security, information security, threat analysis, and security controls.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) integration.
• Exposure to power distribution systems and IT/OT cybersecurity.
• Experience working on power sector or utility infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
