About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in protecting our systems, networks, and data. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to apply classroom knowledge to real-world security challenges under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring security systems and networks for suspicious activity
• Help conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts
• Support the security team in analyzing logs and identifying potential threats
• Assist with implementing and testing security policies and procedures
• Help maintain documentation for security protocols, incidents, and compliance requirements
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
• Support basic incident response activities under supervision
• Assist with security awareness initiatives and employee training materials
• Help with access control reviews and identity management tasks

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with common security tools and concepts (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Basic knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, or similar) are a plus but not required

Nice to Have

• Experience with capture-the-flag (CTF) competitions
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
• Prior internship or project experience in IT/security

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
