Cyber Security Intern

We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Intern who has completed their graduation and is interested in building a professional career in cybersecurity.

This internship is designed for candidates who already have a basic understanding of cybersecurity through self-learning, university projects, online courses, labs, or personal practice. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in cybersecurity rather than simply wanting to switch from an unrelated field without prior knowledge or preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate existing company projects from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Identify potential security risks, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Assist the development team in improving the security of applications and projects.
• Perform basic security assessments and vulnerability checks.
• Research cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Assist in documenting security findings and recommendations.
• Work with the technical team to improve overall security practices.
• Continuously learn about new cybersecurity tools, techniques, and threats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates currently enrolled in university are not eligible.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
• Some previous self-learning, coursework, labs, projects, or practical exposure to cybersecurity.
• Understanding of common vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and basic security principles.
• Strong interest in pursuing cybersecurity as a long-term career.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and work on real company projects.
• Ability to research problems independently and communicate findings clearly.

Preferred Knowledge

Knowledge or basic exposure to any of the following will be an advantage:

• Web application security
• Network security fundamentals
• Vulnerability assessment
• OWASP Top 10
• Linux
• Cybersecurity tools and labs
• Ethical hacking fundamentals
• Secure coding concepts
• Basic penetration testing concepts

Note: This internship is not suitable for candidates who are currently attending university and need to divide their time between classes and office responsibilities.

Pay: From Rs500.00 per month
