Cybersecurity Administrator

Own the reliable, secure, and well-documented operation of Warp9’s core technology environment. The role serves as the senior technical resource for systems administration, cybersecurity controls, complex incident handling, technical risk reduction, and continuity readiness across supported users, devices, applications, infrastructure, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Warp9’s systems, networks, devices, applications, user accounts, and access controls.

• Monitor system availability, security alerts, backups, and technology performance.

• Resolve complex technical issues and address recurring problems through root-cause analysis.

• Manage employee IT onboarding, access changes, and offboarding.

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including MFA, endpoint protection, patching, access restrictions, and secure configurations.

• Lead the technical response to cybersecurity incidents, including investigation, containment, recovery, and documentation.

• Conduct access, vulnerability, and security-control reviews and follow identified issues through resolution.

• Maintain system records, asset inventories, licenses, configurations, procedures, and incident documentation.

• Support backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity activities.

• Coordinate with technology and security vendors and monitor unresolved service issues.

• Recommend improvements to Warp9’s systems, security controls, and MIS processes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior MIS personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline; equivalent substantial experience may be considered.

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible systems administration or MIS experience, including at least 3 years with meaningful cybersecurity, security operations, or incident-handling responsibility.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, endpoint management, MFA, user lifecycle access, Microsoft security tools, and cloud/SaaS environments.

• Strong working knowledge of Windows administration, networking, VPN, backup and recovery, endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability management, logging, and access-control principles.

• Proven experience responding to actual or suspected security incidents, including containment, evidence preservation, remediation, recovery coordination, and post-incident documentation.

• Experience with security governance activities such as access reviews, asset and configuration documentation, security-awareness support, vendor coordination, and audit or client-security evidence preparation.

• Able to assess risk, prioritize competing incidents, communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality in handling company and client information.

• Relevant certifications are preferred, such as Microsoft 365/Azure, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, ITIL, or equivalent credentials.
