Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

The Cybersecurity Analyst supports Moatable's global security operations and compliance programs, reporting to the Director of Global IT, Security & Compliance. This role sits at the center of day-to-day security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance execution across Moatable's global infrastructure — spanning both the Lofty and Trucker Path platforms — and requires close collaboration with the broader IT and Security team across time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across EDR, SIEM, email security, and AWS cloud environments
• Investigate phishing reports and suspicious activity, and document findings and outcomes clearly
• Run vulnerability scanning across the environment on a regular cadence
• Prioritize identified vulnerabilities based on risk and business impact
• Track remediation to closure and report on vulnerability management status to stakeholders
• Support SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, including audit evidence collection, quarterly access reviews, and control tracking
• Support risk assessments and vendor security reviews
• Administer security tooling, including EDR, MDM compliance policies, and email filtering
• Process access requests in accordance with the company's least-privilege access policy
• Assist with security awareness training for employees across the organization

About you

• 2+ years of experience in information security or IT with security responsibilities
• Working knowledge of SIEM/EDR platforms and vulnerability scanners
• Familiarity with AWS security services and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to work with partial overlap with U.S. business hours
• Security+, CySA+, or an equivalent security certification (nice to have)
