Cybersecurity Analyst

Responsibilities

· Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts across SIEM, XDR, and DLP platforms to identify and respond to potential security threats.

· Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts to strengthen the organization's security posture.

· Investigate cybersecurity incidents, coordinate with stakeholders, and support incident response activities.

· Perform day-to-day security operations, including alert triage, threat analysis, and security monitoring.

· Proactively conduct threat hunting activities to identify emerging threats and potential risks.

· Evaluate and test cybersecurity tools, technologies, and solutions to enhance security capabilities.

· Support cybersecurity projects and perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree / High Diploma holder in Information Technology / Computer Science or related disciplines.

· 2 years' relevant working experience in Security Operations Centre (SOC) or Cybersecurity Operations or related security role.

· Good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including endpoints, servers, networks, cloud services, identity management, and email security.

· Knowledge of cybersecurity attack lifecycle, threat vectors, incident detection, triage, investigation, containment, and remediation processes.

· Hands-on experience in operating and administering security technologies like XDR, SIEM, DLP, Patch / Vulnerabilities Management.

· Knowledge of Scripting (Python, PowerShell), network support, firewall, WAF, VPNs, Azure, M365, AWS, or GCP will be an advantage.

· Self-motivated, proactive, strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player.
