Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our digital infrastructure and ensure compliance with security standards. The role involves performing proactive threat analysis, responding to incidents, and monitoring network activities to detect potential breaches. You will collaborate with the IT and development teams to maintain a secure environment across applications, servers, and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, network traffic, and endpoint logs.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and provide mitigation or remediation recommendations.
• Participate in security incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and update security compliance documentation and risk assessments.
• Support implementation of security policies and best practices across departments.
• Assist in periodic audits and support continuous improvement of the company s security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or information assurance.
• Proficiency in tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Nessus, or similar.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or other security frameworks is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in network or information security.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, protocols, and threat prevention methods.
• Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability assessment, and incident management processes.
• Working knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
• Ability to analyze security alerts, logs, and generate reports effectively.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
