Job Description
Veracode is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to help monitor, analyze, and improve security operations. The position involves identifying potential security threats, investigating alerts, supporting vulnerability management, and helping maintain effective security controls and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Analyze security events, logs, and system activity.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
• Identify and document potential security risks.
• Support incident response and security investigations.
• Maintain security documentation and reports.
• Assist with security tools, controls, and monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on security issues.
• Follow established cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT, or a related field.
• Understanding of network security and common cybersecurity threats.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and document technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Security certifications or relevant technical training are a plus.
