Cybersecurity Engineer ( M/F)

You'll work across diverse projects, collaborating with engineering teams, cloud specialists, architects, and business stakeholders to strengthen security across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise environments.

Your Mission

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving security controls across our clients' environments.

You will combine technical expertise with a proactive security mindset, helping identify risks, secure systems, support security initiatives, and contribute to the evolution of cybersecurity capabilities and best practices.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
• Identify vulnerabilities and security risks through assessments, reviews, and testing activities
• Support the implementation of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps)
• Monitor and investigate security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Assist in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation activities
• Implement and manage security monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Conduct security assessments of applications, systems, and cloud environments
• Support vulnerability management and remediation programs
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to improve security posture
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and technical guidance across teams
• Participate in cybersecurity transformation projects and security improvement programs
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer , Security Consultant, Security Analyst, or similar role
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and security best practices
• Experience securing enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as:
• SIEM platforms
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• Vulnerability Management tools
• Identity & Access Management solutions
• Firewalls and Network Security solutions
• Experience working with Microsoft security technologies is highly valued:
• Microsoft Defender Suite
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Entra ID
• Microsoft Purview
• Knowledge of cloud security, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Understanding of application security and secure software development practices
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
