Cybersecurity Engineer with Development & AI Experience

Seeking a versatile cybersecurity professional on a contract basis, supporting a mix of automation, secure development, and hands-on technical work. You'll work directly with a team, managing multiple workstreams in parallel, and be comfortable both getting hands-on and documenting what you do.

What We're Looking For

• Strong cybersecurity background, with development and AI skills/experience
• Flexible and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Technical depth, but able to document work clearly and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable juggling multiple pieces of work at once
• Available to be onsite in Hamilton office 2–3 days per week (days are flexible)
• Able to commit 20–30 hours per week until Christmas

What You'll Be Working On

• CrowdStrike SIEM & SOAR automation — including Fusion Workflows
• Secure development lifecycle (SSDLC) — working alongside our in-house Development team to update their SSDLC and integrate Snyk and AI into their CI/CD pipeline
• Scripting and small application development to support security and automation objectives
