What they need
We are looking for unemployed young people aged 18–35 who are eager to learn and interested in developing skills in cybersecurity and IT.
Minimum requirements:
- Must be unemployed and between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must have passed Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be willing to learn, committed and able to attend all scheduled classes.
- Must be dedicated to completing the 3–6 month Cybersecurity Skills Programme.
No previous cybersecurity experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Monthly stipend: R1,250, provided all scheduled classes are attended.
Applicants must also explain why they should be selected for this opportunity and how the Cybersecurity Skills Programme will help them develop their skills and improve their future employment opportunities.
