Help Build the Future of Falcon Risk & Security

Falcon Risk & Security is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, and collaborative cybersecurity professional interested in establishing a long-term working relationship with a growing security and technology company.

Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Falcon Risk & Security provides private security services and is exploring opportunities to expand into professional cybersecurity consulting, information technology services, and security technology development.

We are searching for an individual who combines strong technical knowledge with humility, integrity, initiative, and a genuine desire to grow.

This opportunity is particularly suited to an emerging cybersecurity professional who has developed valuable hands-on skills and wants to gain additional experience working on meaningful commercial projects.

We value demonstrated ability, sound judgment, professionalism, and the willingness to continuously learn.

Our objective is to identify someone who can contribute to future projects and potentially help establish Falcon’s cybersecurity and technology division.

Potential Project Responsibilities

Cybersecurity and Third-Party Security Testing

  • Conduct authorized penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on client systems.
  • Identify and document security vulnerabilities in approved networks, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Assist with technical risk assessments and cybersecurity consulting projects.
  • Prepare professional findings reports with clear remediation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to establish project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Perform security testing only within documented, client-authorized scopes.

IT and Technical Consulting

  • Provide occasional technical support for company systems and infrastructure.
  • Recommend cybersecurity improvements and practical IT solutions.
  • Assist with network security, device management, and access controls.
  • Support the implementation of secure technology systems when projects are approved.

Falcon Iris Technology Development

Falcon Risk & Security is also exploring the development of Falcon Iris, a security camera and monitoring technology initiative.

Depending on qualifications and project needs, opportunities may exist to contribute to:

  • Security camera connectivity and networking.
  • Internet of Things (IoT) security.
  • Secure cloud infrastructure and device communications.
  • Software and application security.
  • Data protection and access controls.
  • Testing and securing prototype systems.

Falcon Iris assignments would be negotiated independently of client cybersecurity projects.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Understanding of ethical hacking practices and authorized security testing.
  • Familiarity with relevant security tools and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to document technical findings clearly.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver agreed-upon project outcomes.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Relevant certifications, including CompTIA Security+, Network+, PenTest+, CEH, or OSCP, are welcomed but not automatically required.

Candidates who have developed their skills through independent study, practical laboratories, academic coursework, internships, or professional experience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must demonstrate sufficient competence for any work they independently undertake. Additional experience may be required for more complex engagements.

Compensation and Project Structure

This is initially a project-based opportunity rather than a guaranteed salaried position.

Compensation will be negotiated individually for each approved assignment and agreed upon in writing before work begins.

Individual project agreements will specify compensation, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms.

There are currently no guaranteed cybersecurity assignments, minimum hours, or monthly payments.

Qualified individuals may be invited to participate in future projects as opportunities become available.

Long-Term Growth Opportunities

Falcon Risk & Security is committed to continued expansion and innovation.

As cybersecurity and technology operations develop, successful professional relationships may create opportunities for additional projects, ongoing consulting work, or future employment.

Potential advancement opportunities could include cybersecurity project leadership, technology operations management, and leadership within a future cybersecurity division.

These opportunities are dependent upon company growth, available projects, demonstrated ability, and business needs. They are not guaranteed.

What We Value Most

We are seeking someone who is technically capable, dependable, open to feedback, respectful of others, and genuinely motivated to succeed.

You should be comfortable presenting your professional recommendations, discussing different approaches, accepting constructive feedback, and working toward shared goals.

We believe strong technical professionals should be confident in their abilities while remaining willing to learn and collaborate.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief introduction addressing:

  • Their background in cybersecurity and information technology.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing or vulnerability assessments.
  • Relevant certifications, training, or practical projects.
  • Availability and interest in fixed-fee project assignments.
  • Interest in potential future cybersecurity and security technology development opportunities.

Candidates may also provide a portfolio, GitHub profile, sanitized sample assessment report, or examples of authorized security projects.

Security. Technology. Innovation. Opportunity.

We welcome skilled, motivated professionals interested in helping build something meaningful.
