Role Description The Cybersecurity Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for designing and delivering training programs on core and advanced cybersecurity topics to internal teams, clients, and partners. Day-to-day activities include developing course materials, hands-on labs, and assessments; conducting classroom and workshop-style sessions; and updating training content to reflect emerging threats, technologies, and best practices. The role involves collaborating with security engineers to translate real-world incidents and use cases into practical learning modules, as well as evaluating participant performance and providing constructive feedback. The Cybersecurity Trainer will also support certification preparation, contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, and help build a strong security awareness culture across the organization and client base.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational and advanced skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including security frameworks, risk management, and incident response.
• Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, such as secure software development practices, code review, and application vulnerability assessment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including secure network architecture, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
• Candidates should possess skills in Malware Analysis, including threat identification, reverse engineering basics, and behavior analysis of malicious code.
• Experience delivering technical training or workshops, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation, communication, and instructional design skills, with proficiency in creating engaging training materials and hands-on labs.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams, stay current with emerging threats, and continuously improve course content.
