What you’ll be doing

You will work alongside an experienced team, learn new skills and get involved in everything from general road maintenance and traffic management to emergency response work. No two days are the same, and there’s always something to get stuck into!

• Helping with pothole repairs and road maintenance
• Installing and maintaining road signs and EMPs
• Removing detritus, litter and debris from the network
• Assisting with traffic management and site activities
• Supporting the crew with a range of hands-on labouring tasks
• Getting involved in emergency response work when required
• Learning new skills and supporting the team wherever needed

What we’re looking for

• Full, clean Class 1 NZ Driver Licence
• TTM Worker/TMO qualification preferred
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to follow instructions
• A team player who is happy to pitch in and get stuck in

Experience in road maintenance, traffic management or civil construction is an advantage, but your attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
