Cytologist / Student instructor

Job Summary This position requires NYS cytotechnologist licensure and is responsible for coordinating educational activities for clinical instruction of cytotechnology students who enter the Upstate/ ACPHS Hybrid Program. The staff cytotechnologist participates in evaluation and reporting gynecologic, non gynecologic cases and fine needle aspirations. Provides on-site microscopic assessment for fine needle aspirations, performs preparation and staining specimens as needed. Performs accurate and complete documentation as required.

Minimum Qualifications NYS license and registration or limited permit to practice as a Cytotechnologist required. Two years of cytotechnology experience preferred. Ability to distinguish colors required.
