D365 Project Operations Functional Lead

Contract: 6 months

Rate: Negotiable

Location: Sweden – candidates must be based in Sweden

Working model: Hybrid, with occasional travel to Stockholm

We’re looking for a senior Dynamics 365 specialist to lead the functional design and delivery of D365 Project Operations . You’ll work with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn project delivery and financial requirements into a solution that works across the full project lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into clear functional requirements and solution designs.
• Design processes covering project planning, resourcing, time and expense, project costing, billing and reporting.
• Own key functional design decisions, identify gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Work with technical, integration and data teams to ensure Project Operations fits with the wider D365 landscape.
• Guide configuration, testing, user acceptance, training and deployment.
• Advise stakeholders on standard platform capabilities and the implications of customisation.

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Dynamics 365 Project Operations .
• Experience leading functional design on complex D365 programmes, ideally as a Senior Functional Consultant or Functional Architect.
• A solid understanding of project accounting and the relationship between operational project processes and finance.
• The ability to run workshops, challenge requirements constructively and explain design choices to both business and technical audiences.
• Experience working across integrations, data migration, testing and deployment.
