Description We need a strong D365/FastPath security consultant to assist our client with D365 security issues and role redesign efforts. Our client has an immediate need to redesign roles to remediate key access conflicts.

This is an onsite role, that could potentially turn remote after initial scoping. The ideal candidate will be local or willing to relocate to the Venice/Sarasota area and be open to full time employment after the initial contract period.

Key Scope Items Focus on the highest number of access conflicts based on financial reporting materiality by business unit

Obtain business ownership (Finance/Accounting) on where business processes can be centralized for standardized shared service support to reduce total role count

Enhance business processes using security/access to enable changes in current system design and drive role access updates

Test changes based upon agile SIT1, SIT2/UAT, capture results

Obtain business sign-off approvals on new role redesign (to include Internal Audit within Testing), capture new IA observations for hyper-care or next release

Remove access from users no longer in use and/or reassign new role assignments

Identify where key access/SoD conflicts remain, build new development requirements for manual reports as compensating controls

The new role redesign is scheduled to go-live by 10/1/23. The output of this effort to assist within new scope for next D365 Project relaunch and a potential extended length of contract.
