D93 - Product Engineer (Mechanical - IC Engine, Engine Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for engine-related products and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve engine performance and operational issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders to address technical concerns.
• Monitor product performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Support product testing, validation, and field issue resolution activities.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to product/system enhancement projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in product engineering, engine support, or technical troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of IC Engines, engine systems, and related components.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving engine-related technical issues.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Windchill, and IMS systems for product data management, engineering change management, and lifecycle documentation.
• Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, management, and maintenance throughout the product development lifecycle
• Strong analytical mindset with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
