Role Description The Data Analysis Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria. The instructor will design and deliver data analysis courses, prepare lesson plans and teaching materials, and present concepts in a clear, accessible way to learners with varying levels of experience. Day-to-day tasks include conducting classroom sessions, guiding learners through practical exercises and projects, providing individualized feedback, and assessing performance through assignments and exams. The instructor will also update course content to align with industry trends and tools, coordinate with the academy’s training team on scheduling and program improvements, and participate in meetings to review learner progress and enhance teaching strategies. The role involves maintaining a supportive learning environment and ensuring that learners gain job-ready analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data analysis concepts, including data collection, cleaning, exploration, and reporting, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Practical experience with common data tools and methods (e.g., spreadsheets, basic statistics, visualization tools, or introductory database concepts) suitable for classroom instruction.
• Demonstrated teaching, coaching, or training ability, with skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom facilitation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage learners, manage questions, and provide constructive feedback.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple classes, grading, and preparation tasks efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a professional data or analytics role and prior work in education or corporate training are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, collaborate with academy staff, and adapt teaching methods based on learner needs and course evaluations.
