Job Title: Daily Audit Associate – Entry Level (Retail – US Operations Support)

Location: Karachi (Shahrah-e-Faisal – Onsite)
Shift: Night Shift (US Business Hours)
Schedule: 5 Days a Week | Alternate Saturdays
Salary: Up to PKR 50,000 – 85,000 / month

Job Summary

We are hiring a Daily Audit Associate to support audit and reconciliation processes for a US-based retail chain from our Karachi back office. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a basic understanding of financial data and reporting.

The ideal candidate will work closely with US stakeholders during night hours, ensuring accurate daily audits, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining data integrity across multiple retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Audit & Reconciliation

• Perform daily audits of sales, cash, and transaction data across retail locations
• Reconcile POS reports with financial records and payment systems
• Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies or variances
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of audit data

Data Verification & Reporting

• Review and validate large volumes of transactional data
• Prepare daily audit reports and summaries
• Highlight exceptions and escalate issues in a timely manner
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails

Retail Operations Support

• Work with POS, inventory, and sales data to ensure consistency
• Coordinate with operations teams to resolve data mismatches
• Monitor daily store performance from an audit perspective
• Assist in tracking refunds, discounts, and cash handling discrepancies

Compliance & Process Adherence

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for audit processes
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
• Support internal and external audits when required
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate effectively with US-based teams in fluent English (verbal and written)
• Provide updates on audit findings and discrepancies
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams
• Prepare documentation and process guidelines

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 1-2 year of experience
• Basic understanding of accounting or audit principles preferred
• Experience with Excel or data handling is a plus
• Ability to work night shifts aligned with US business hours

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency
• Willingness to learn and grow in audit/finance functions
• Excellent English communication skills (non-negotiable)
