The Dairy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dairy department within a grocery store. Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the dairy department, including staffing and scheduling shifts.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Implement effective sales management strategies to increase department profitability.
• Utilize POS systems for accurate tracking of sales and inventory.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and freshness by regularly checking expiration dates and product conditions.
• Train and supervise staff on proper handling techniques, customer service, and store policies.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms for dairy products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Utilize strong math skills for pricing, inventory counts, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dairy department.
