Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently
• Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by cleaning kitchen equipment, counters, dining areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are upheld
• Manage cash register operations including processing cash transactions, handling cash safely, and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist with food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and promotions to increase sales and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or food industry roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment
• Retail sales experience or experience working in cafes or restaurants will be advantageous
