  • Lead, motivate and develop the DairyFlow team, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective performance management and appropriate training and development.
  • Work closely with the Service & Installation Team Leaders to effectively plan resources across service engineering, projects and installations, maintaining high standards of efficiency, cost control and customer service.
  • Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained to support both customer and operational requirements.
  • Take responsibility for local Health & Safety and QHSEE activities, ensuring compliance with GEA policies and standards.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, lead local sales activities and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales, marketing and business growth strategies in collaboration with the wider GEA Farm Technologies UK Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Drive sales performance and market share across relevant product groups within the territory.
  • Take ownership of local budgets, costs, financial targets and dealership profitability.
  • Monitor business KPIs and financial performance, using data to identify opportunities, drive improvements and provide accurate reporting to the Senior Director and wider management team.
  • Develop a strong network across the dairy and agricultural industries to enhance the profile of DairyFlow and GEA Farm Technologies UK.

Your profile and qualifications

  • We are looking for a commercially minded, self-motivated leader who can combine strong sales leadership with hands-on operational management.
  • You will be a confident decision-maker, comfortable taking ownership of a multifaceted business and capable of leading and inspiring a team while maintaining a strong focus on customers, performance and growth.
  • A minimum of five years’ relevant experience within the dairy, agricultural, engineering or equipment sectors is essential.
  • A relevant degree, BTEC or equivalent qualification in a technical, sales, agricultural, animal-related or other relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrable leadership and people-management experience.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation and customer relationship management.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience of budgets, costs, profitability and business KPIs.
  • The ability to plan effectively, manage competing priorities and make confident decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
