Dance Instructor

Ascend Dance Academy in North Phoenix is growing and looking to expand our Faculty for our Fall Season ! We advise all applicants to look through our website: ascend.dance and read our mission statement to see if we are the place for you.

We have an immediate need for a new faculty member for our 7 and under program! These classes take place on Tuesdays from 4:15-6:15pm and/or Thursdays from 4-5:30pm.

In addition, we are also expanding our faculty in other areas and looking specifically for applicants with significant experience in the following genres for all ages: Ballet and Pointe!

Duties

• Conduct engaging dance classes for students of varying skill levels
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with the goals of the studio.
• Educate students on dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and confidence.
• Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other events to showcase student progress.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Maintain a safe and clean studio environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dance instruction
• Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels.
• Ability to educate students while fostering a love for dance and movement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teaching children.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
