We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance and creative movement. Responsibilities

• Lead engaging dance classes that motivate students to explore movement, improve technique, and express themselves confidently.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Provide individualized feedback and support to help students achieve their personal dance goals.
• Incorporate choreography into performances and recitals, guiding students through rehearsals with enthusiasm and precision.
• Collaborate with other instructors to plan special events, workshops, or youth programs that promote arts education.
• Maintain organized lesson plans and progress records to monitor student development over time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dance instruction across multiple styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop.
• Strong background in choreography and performance techniques.
• Experience working with children and youth programs, demonstrating patience and effective classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts as well as general classroom management strategies.
• Ability to work with students of varying abilities, including those with special education needs or early childhood development requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 6.0 per week
