Dance Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, particularly Ballet, and possess the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their dance skills while promoting their overall childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of students.
• Instruct students in various dance styles, focusing on technique, performance, and creativity.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student growth and confidence.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Organize dance recitals and performances to showcase student achievements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary programs that may include elements of photography or special education.
• Engage with parents regarding student progress and any necessary adjustments to lesson plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methods.

Experience

• Previous experience working with students in a dance or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively support students' growth.
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Skills in sewing or costume design are a plus for creating performance attire.
• Experience in tutoring or special education is beneficial for addressing individual student needs.
