Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate dance lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs
• Lead lively, motivating dance classes for children of varying ages, ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere
• Demonstrate proper dance techniques, posture, and safety procedures to students
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning styles
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and staff to communicate student progress and address any concerns

Qualifications

• Proven experience teaching dance or physical education to children or early childhood education settings
• Strong communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques suitable for different age groups
• Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is a plus
• Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and professionalism
• Background in tutoring or childcare is highly desirable
• Creative writing or arts education experience can enhance lesson planning skills
• Prior preschool or early childhood education experience is preferred

Pay: £13.00-£25.00 per hour
