Dance Teacher

We are looking for an Pop Dance /street dance Coaches to join our team and assist our classes in achieving their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in coaching and mentoring our athletes, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and supportive environment . Available coaching opportunities Burridge on Monday between 430-6. We have opportunities in house for the right candidate to learn and become qualified also. Rates are determined on junior to full lead costs

Duties:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions to enhance skills and performance
• Develop and implement effective training programmes to improve technique, stunts, tumbles, jumps, and routines
• Motivate and inspire squad members to reach their individual and collective goals
• Organise and supervise practices, rehearsals, and performances
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance members' skills and confidence
• Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and parents to ensure the success of the programme
• Attend if required competitions, events, and games to support the squad

Skills:

• Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in cheerleading or dance

• Ability to educate and train individuals of varying skill levels

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, parents, and stakeholders

• Excellent organisational skills to plan practices, schedules, and events efficiently

• Passion for the disciplines with a commitment to promoting sportsmanship and teamwork

• Strong reliability

Experience:

-Previous coaching advantageous working with all ages from pre school to young adults- though for the right candidate support can be given

• DBS, First aid, safeguarding (though we can assist with this)

-Dance, Acro, Cheerleading, Gymnastics qualifications ideal (but can be supported by us)
