D&E Manager

• Coordinate with production and project department in Prototype and FAI preparation
• Ensure all Prototype is completed and ready for customer review within customer given time frame.
• Ensure all Bill of Material (BOM) and drawings are always updated by reviewing with the Project Dept from time to time.
• Ensure all information between Bill of Material (BOM), parts drawings and shop drawings, and cutting list is always tally.
• Drive the Value Engineering initiative to reduce material cost and increase productivity in production line across all product range.
• Work closely with costing department to analyze pre and post cost periodically and to focus on area which can increase product profit.
• Set ambitious D & E goals and communicate to all D & E staff through motivation, support and guidance.
• Assist D&E Director to prepare Job Description and KPI for every D&E department staff.
• Ensure all D&E staff meet KPI target set.
• Improve D&E team’s efficiency in BOM and Drawings preparation.
• Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement.
• Organize weekly meetings with D & E staff to monitor work progress to ensure all assigned task are completed timely.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including production, project, D&E, procurement and management.
• Prepare D & E monthly report and submit on time base on time line set by management.
• Be prepared to Head the production department whenever is required and instructed by the management.
• Carry out other task as been assigned by management from time to time.

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
