DAS Technician

Location: Multiple Job Sites (Southern California & Occasional Travel)
Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience and skill level)

Job Description:
Newgens, Inc. is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our growing team in the DAS (Distributed Antenna System) and Low Voltage construction field. No prior experience required — we are willing to train the right candidates. This is a hands-on position that may involve occasional travel and night work depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrier-Side Projects:

• Installation of coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet cabling.
• Fiber termination and OTDR testing.
• Support RF testing activities such as Sweep, PIM, Commissioning, Integration, and Walk testing in coordination with the test team.
• Travel to various sites as needed (travel expenses covered).

Terminal Projects:

• Similar low-voltage installation work, with a strong focus on CCTV system setup.
• Operation of boom lifts for high-access installations.
• Night shift work may be required depending on terminal access; equivalent time-off will be provided.
• When terminal projects are not active, you will support carrier-side tasks.

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable with physical labor and working at heights (boom lift use).
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including nights.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
