Data Analysis - SQL + Core Domain Data skills - Senior Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Analyzing client data sets using SQL and data analysis tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Developing and maintaining data models, queries, and validation checks to support recurring reporting and insights
• Translating business questions into analytical approaches that clarify assumptions, variables, and data sources
• Creating visualizations and dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate findings clearly
• Performing data preparation, cleansing, and integration tasks across structured sources to improve consistency and usability
• Interpreting analytical results and drafting concise summaries that support decision-making and next-step planning
• Applying statistical techniques and scenario analysis to assess outcomes and highlight key drivers
• Collaborating with client teams and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, review outputs, and adjust workstreams
• Mentoring junior team members on analytical methods, data handling, and deliverable development
• Upholding professional and technical standards while delivering work across multiple priorities and shifting client needs

What Sets You Apart

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Engineering, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Computer and Information Science, Economics, Finance
• At least one of the following: A Certification in databases (Databricks, MS SQL), visualization tools (Power BI), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or predictive modeling/ML (Python, SAS)
• Demonstrating client-facing data analysis within complex engagement settings
• Applying SQL to interpret data and inform recommendations
• Using Power BI, Python, or SAS for dashboards and modeling
• Anticipating team needs while mentoring junior team members
