Data Analyst AML

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join a leading banking institution and contribute to the continuous improvement of its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) data landscape.

In this role, you will act as the link between business and IT teams, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality data solutions that support AML processes and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with IT, Data Hub, Compliance and Operations teams to gather and align business requirements.

• Analyzing AML and Transaction Monitoring data to identify and resolve data quality issues.

• Designing and maintaining logical and physical data models to support reporting and analytics.

• Contributing to the implementation and continuous improvement of data governance practices.

• Supporting the development and industrialization of data pipelines.

• Optimizing data processes to improve efficiency, consistency and scalability.

• Producing clear documentation and facilitating workshops with key stakeholders.

We are looking for a consultant with:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within the banking sector.

• Proven experience in AML, Financial Crime or Transaction Monitoring.

• Strong SQL skills and experience in data analysis and data modelling.

• A good understanding of banking data and regulatory environments.

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in complex organizations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent Dutch, French and English (mandatory).
