Data Analyst (Banking)

Job Responsibilities:

• Automate management information (MI) reports through Python scripting and/or Excel macros
• Collaborate with sales teams to design and develop new MI and tracking reports for analysing sales performance and campaign results
• Handle finance-related tasks such as reconciliation and accruals
• Conduct market research and analyse macro trends in relation to business performance
• Support various teams with data-related requests and insights
• Build dashboards using Power BI*(A Power BI adoption project has been initiated but not fully rolled out yet; this responsibility is optional.)*

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above with at least one-year relevant experience in banking / financial sector
• Good communications skill to get inputs from stakeholders and prepare different presentation decks
• Proficient in Python and MS Excel for consolidating data, including formula and pivot table usage
• Capability to use MS PowerPoint to present findings with graphs / charts
• Energetic, quick starter, good time-management and attention to detail
• Strong sense in data, detail-minded, organized, meticulous and responsible
