Data Analyst (BITEC)

Job Summary

Turn business data into actionable insights that support the growth of BITEC’s venue and event business. This role focuses on analyzing revenue, sales performance, venue utilization, and customer trends to support business planning and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from sales, venue bookings, event operations, and related services.
• Analyze revenue and business performance against targets and historical results, highlighting trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor sales pipelines, win rates, repeat bookings, and customer retention to identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Analyze venue occupancy, space utilization, and revenue by event type and customer segment.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports using Power BI, Excel, or other relevant tools.
• Support revenue forecasting, business planning, and resource allocation through data analysis.
• Analyze customer satisfaction and service performance to recommend operational improvements.
• Present findings and practical recommendations to management and relevant teams.
• Collaborate with IT and business users to improve data quality and automate reporting processes.
• Maintain data confidentiality and comply with company data management policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or business performance reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, advanced formulas, and Power Query.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and practical business recommendations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in the venue, events, hospitality, or service industry would be an advantage.
