Data Analyst

About The Role As a Data Analyst at Baly, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and other business functions to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that improve business performance and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will analyze business trends, develop reports and dashboards, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic initiatives through accurate, timely, and actionable analytics. Your work will directly contribute to improving operational processes, measuring business performance, and supporting company-wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analytics & Insights

• Analyze business performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide analytical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations based on data findings.

Data Management & Reporting

• Extract, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports and automated reporting solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across analytical outputs.
• Monitor key business metrics and proactively identify performance changes.

Dashboard Development & Visualization

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Build self-service reporting tools that enable stakeholders to access business insights independently.
• Present analytical findings through clear visualizations and executive-level reports.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Utilize Python to automate repetitive analytical tasks and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for workflow optimization.
• Assist in developing scalable reporting processes and analytical frameworks.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial, and other departments to support business initiatives.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simple and actionable manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with virtual machine (VM) environments.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and reporting automation.
