DATA ANALYST

About the role

The Data Analyst – IT is responsible for managing the Company's data reporting and analysis requirements while providing overall IT and technical support. The position prepares and validates sales and operational reports, analyzes business data, maintains data accuracy and confidentiality, and provides information to support Management's decision-making. The role also maintains the Company's IT infrastructure, equipment, systems, networks, user accounts, cybersecurity, and data backups, while troubleshooting technical issues and implementing technology and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly sales performance reports to the Sales Team and Management in coordination with the Accounting Department.
• Compute, validate, and maintain records of sales incentive payouts based on approved incentive programs.
• Analyze and monitor monthly Mercury Drug Corporation (MDC) stock transfer movements and prepare the corresponding summary reports.
• Extract, consolidate, and generate OSCA and PWD transaction reports from MDC data.
• Extract, validate, consolidate, and generate sales and operational reports from the SFE Sales System.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, completeness, and confidentiality of business data used for reporting and analysis.
• Identify data quality issues and reporting inefficiencies and recommend or implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and data analyses to support Management's business and operational decisions.
• Maintain the Company's computers, laptops, printers, networking devices, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, internet, and connectivity issues encountered by employees.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related IT position is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of databases and data management.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Microsoft Excel – advanced formulas, PivotTables, charts, data cleaning, and reporting.
• SQL – ability to query, retrieve, and analyze data from databases.
• Power BI or similar BI tools – dashboard development and data visualization.
