Senior Data Analyst – Private Banking

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a Data & Insights team within the Private Banking domain. In this role, you will turn business questions and customer data into actionable insights that support better customer experiences, commercial opportunities, sales conversion, and strategic decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and data solutions.
• Analyse large datasets using SQL or Python .
• Work with Databricks to access, process, and analyse data.
• Identify trends, customer behaviour, opportunities, and business improvements.
• Turn complex analysis into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders and management.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to develop and implement data-driven commercial leads .
• Translate business and functional requirements into data processes and lead-generation solutions.
• Manage stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to improving customer journeys, propositions, sales conversion, and internal processes.

Your Profile

• 4–5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Senior Data Analyst, Data Consultant, BI Analyst, Analytics Consultant , or similar.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL or Python – one is mandatory.
• Practical experience with Databricks – mandatory .
• Experience working with banking data and processes .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working between business and IT.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in business-level English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree / HBO-WO level of working and thinking.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in banking or financial services .
• Experience with customer analytics, commercial analytics, CRM, or sales conversion.
• Previous experience at Rabobank is a plus.
