Duties

• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
• Design and implement scalable data models and databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management aligned with best practices in database design.
• Conduct requirements analysis with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes using tools like Talend, Python, Bash scripts, or VBA to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure data integrity and seamless integration of analytics solutions within existing systems.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL queries on SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational databases to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic initiatives.
• Support business intelligence initiatives by developing dashboards, visualizations, and reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making across departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; strong query management skills are essential.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker; ability to create engaging dashboards tailored to user needs.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience with tools like Talend or scripting languages such as Python or Bash for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of database design principles and experience with data model design for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies to support iterative project delivery.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights; experience with Excel data analysis is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in analytics tools such as R or VBA for advanced statistical analysis and automation tasks.
• Experience working on business intelligence projects involving linked data integration and reporting/dashboarding solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement; ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.

Pay: $89,810.65 - $108,159.05 per year
