Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and reporting/dashboarding tools to visualize key metrics effectively.
• Design and implement data models and databases utilizing SQL Server, Oracle, or other SQL databases to support analytics initiatives.
• Perform data extraction, transformation (ETL), and loading processes using Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), or VBA to ensure clean, accurate datasets for analysis.
• Conduct requirements analysis with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications for data models and reports.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to develop scalable solutions throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel data analysis techniques and data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Support business intelligence initiatives by designing dashboards, developing visualizations, managing query performance, and ensuring data accuracy for decision-makers.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SQL query management and database design in environments such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools; familiarity with Python scripting for data manipulation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies like Agile to manage project workflows effectively.
• Technical skills in R programming language for statistical analysis; experience with VBA scripting is a plus.
• Understanding of linked data concepts and how they integrate into broader business intelligence strategies.
• Ability to analyze requirements thoroughly and translate them into effective data models and reports.
• Excellent analysis skills with a focus on accuracy, detail orientation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle; experience with Visio for process mapping is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
