Data Analyst

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of core banking products, including cards, mortgages and international currency accounts, alongside a solid understanding of payment systems and schemes such as CHAPS, Faster Payments, SWIFT and TARGET2. You'll be proficient in SQL, with experience analysing data across platforms such as Snowflake and Oracle, and a strong understanding of cloud-based data warehouses, particularly Snowflake.

Experience in banking and financial crime disciplines, including fraud, customer due diligence, KYC and AML, together with familiarity with AWS Cloud services, Informatica PowerCenter, and data warehouse and data lake technologies, would also be beneficial.

We'll also look for:

• An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains
• A background in delivering research based on qualitative and quantitative data across a range of subjects
• An ability to analyse large datasets across diverse storage platforms using tools such as Python, SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear, actionable recommendations
• Experience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency would be advantageous
