Talentnova Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst with strong problem-solving and data analytics experience to join the Strategic Insights & Reporting (SI&R) team. As a Data Analyst at Talentnova Solutions, you will leverage analytical and technical skills to design, build, and maintain data solutions that address business challenges and support informed decision-making. This role will develop scalable analytics solutions and web applications using Dataiku, build business intelligence solutions with Amazon QuickSight and Microsoft Power BI, and promote user adoption through documentation, knowledge sharing, and hands-on training.

Essential Job Functions

The SI&R team at Talentnova Solutions provides operational insights and metrics that inform leadership decisions, identify trends, and surface emerging risks. This role will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing interactive dashboards, reporting solutions, and decision-support tools that transform complex data into actionable insights using Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, and VBA.
• Executing analytics projects, including data sourcing, documentation, and analysis.
• Creating user documentation and delivering training, demonstrations, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Dataiku workflows, reusable analytics components, and web applications.
• Accessing, compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Developing process maps and documenting business requirements to support project initiatives.
• Building end-to-end workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Utilizing SQL, R, Python, SAS, or SPSS to perform data manipulation and analysis.
• Applying statistical and advanced analytics methodologies to solve business problems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concept solutions and transition them into production-ready applications.
• Presenting prototypes, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting and analytics solutions.
• Researching and interpreting complex data sources to derive meaningful insights.
• Supporting best practices related to data integrity, governance, and repeatable analytical processes.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Banking, capital markets, or broker-dealer industry experience is a plus.
• 0 to 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos Analytics, or VBA.
• Hands-on experience with Dataiku, including workflow development, reusable analytics solutions, and web application development.
• Experience designing and developing dashboards and business intelligence solutions using Amazon QuickSight.
• Ability to document technical solutions and train users with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Experience developing user-friendly analytical applications that translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, proof-of-concept environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in research or modeling environments utilizing Python and/or R.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week.
• Candidates must reside within commuting distance of a Talentnova Solutions office location.

Pay: $79,000.00 - $95,200.00 per year
