Data Analyst

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, cleaning, analyzing, modeling, and interpreting data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis. The role supports data-driven decision-making by maintaining data quality, identifying trends and patterns, developing reporting solutions, and helping business units effectively utilize available data.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Review reports and performance indicators to identify data issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities that support forecasting and decision-making.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify key findings and provide actionable recommendations.
• Create executive and stakeholder-facing reports based on analytical findings.
• Provide analytical support for data-driven business initiatives.
• Acquire, organize, and maintain data from primary and secondary sources.
• Develop and maintain databases, data collection processes, and analytical solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Perform data modeling, data cleaning, and validation activities as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to reporting processes, data sources, and analytical methodologies.
• Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and understandable manner.
• Partner with business units to understand reporting requirements and promote effective data usage.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across reporting and analytical outputs.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable requirements related to data handling and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting analytics, or related roles.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
• Experience using SQL databases to build queries and support reporting needs.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, functions, automation, charts, and reporting.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Experience with data modeling, data cleaning, and exploratory data analysis.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to translate technical data findings into clear business recommendations.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings effectively.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Work Location: Onsite at Angeles City, Pampanga

Work Schedule: 5 AM - 2 PM, Tuesday to Saturday, PH time (May need to be on 2am-11am PH during training period)
