DATA ANALYST

Are you a detail-oriented Financial Data Analyst with experience working with large volumes of data, financial products, and reporting tools? Are you looking for an opportunity to work closely with Institutional Sales, Operations, and Capital Markets teams within a leading financial institution?

At Qaracter , we are looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join a key banking project, supporting the daily management, validation, and reporting of Sales Credit information and financial operations .

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset who enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies, improving processes, and collaborating with different stakeholders in an international banking environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and review the Institutional database , ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and resolve pending data mapping and operational issues.
• Manage daily communication with stakeholders regarding:
• Data and figures validation.
• Client-related queries.
• Operational incidents.
• Prepare and distribute periodic management and operational reports .
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes through automation and reporting solutions .
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, Excel and HTML .
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

🔹 Requirements

• Experience in financial data analysis, operations, reporting, or banking environments .
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large volumes of data .
• High attention to detail and strong focus on data quality, validation, and reconciliation .
• Basic understanding of financial products , particularly derivatives .
• Experience working with reporting and data analysis tools such as Power BI and/or Power Query .
• Ability to work independently, prioritize daily operational tasks, and manage deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Murex .
• Knowledge of Bloomberg .
• Previous experience with Sales Credit processes .
• Knowledge of Institutional Sales / Capital Markets Operations .
• Experience developing Excel/Power BI/Power Query automations .
• Basic knowledge of HTML .
• Experience working with international banking teams.
