Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, Excel VBA, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business operations and the ability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic planning, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

The consultant will work with business and technical stakeholders to develop meaningful reports, dashboards, analytical solutions, and insights that help drive organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Design effective data models and optimise Power BI reports for performance.

• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

• Support strategic planning, business process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within business data.

• Develop and maintain Excel-based analytical solutions using VBA programming.

• Automate repetitive reporting and data-processing activities using Excel VBA.

• Work with large datasets and ensure appropriate data quality and validation.

• Apply statistical and analytical techniques to support business decisions.

• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders.

• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and analytics processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / Data Analysis.

• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Strong expertise in:

o Power BI Reports & Dashboards

o Data Visualization

o Power Query

o Data Modelling

o DAX

o Report Performance Optimisation

o Data Source Integration

• Strong SQL knowledge with experience writing complex queries.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Hands-on experience with Excel VBA programming and automation.

• Good understanding of business operations and data-driven decision-making.
