Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Engineer with Grafana experience designs and builds the underlying data pipelines, databases, and integrations that feed real-time metrics, logs, and business telemetry into Grafana dashboards.

Requirements -

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. [1]
• Experience: Typically ranges from 3 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, BI development, or cloud/DevOps monitoring roles. [1, 2, 3]
• Certifications: Vendor-specific or cloud certifications (such as AWS Certified Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure certifications, or Databricks credentials) are heavily preferred by employers like those featured on PNet and local tech listings.
• Data Pipeline & ETL Development: Build and maintain scalable pipelines that ingest high-volume, event-based, or time-series data from sources like cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), or telemetry collectors (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana Alloy).
• Time-Series & Database Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL and database queries to ensure fast dashboard rendering and low-latency metrics retrieval.
• Dashboard & Alert Engineering: Partner with software developers, DevOps, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into interactive Grafana dashboards, threshold alerts, and real-time monitoring panels.
• Data Quality & Governance: Monitor pipeline reliability, manage schema designs, and ensure data integrity across multi-team observability stacks
• Data Engineering: Python, SQL, ETL/ELT workflows, data modeling, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Observability & Time-Series: Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry / Grafana Alloy.
• Complementary BI Tools: Experience with alternative analytics or visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Build and maintain data pipelines integrating fleet, fuel, toll, maintenance and tracking information.
• Maintain shared master data across RT46 and RT62, including customers, vehicles, drivers and merchants.
• Implement transaction reconciliation, data migration, data quality controls, and Grafana monitoring and alerting.
